However,2019the company found that sales in several regions that originally had high sales volumes had sharply decreased. Through market investigations, the company discovered that there were enterprises in Hebei, Tianjin, Chongqing, and other places producing counterfeit“South Asia”trademark plastic wrap in large quantities. At the beginning of last year, the company reported to the police. After a period of investigation, Nantong Public Security finally cracked this major counterfeiting case.

Last summer, based on the clues provided by the reporting unit, the special investigation team went to Hejian City, Hebei Province to conduct investigations. To understand the production patterns of the counterfeiting dens, police officers conducted continuous surveillance for up to37days.8Month21On the evening of the day, police officers infiltrated the suspect's unit for investigation and discovered a large amount of counterfeit“South Asia”trademark finished plastic wrap in their warehouse. This investigation video became strong evidence for the special investigation team to close in a month later.

Through in-depth investigations of two key suspect companies, the special investigation team found that they were family businesses, and the responsible persons had a certain awareness of counter-surveillance.

    9Month22On the evening of that day, the special investigation team launched a concentrated operation to capture suspects Li Moudou and Gu Moliang among others.60They successfully dismantled two dens producing and selling counterfeit“South Asia“trademark plastic wrap. During interrogation, Li Moudou and Gu Moliang revealed that since2017they had been using the existing factories and equipment of their two companies to produce and sell counterfeit“South Asia plastic wrap since then, they profited and then improved and expanded their plastic wrap production line. As a result, the production volume of plastic wrap from their family business jumped to fourth place nationwide.”，Profit and then improve and expand the production line of cling film, this came to make the family business of cling film production volume jumped to the fourth place in the country.

The police introduced that the involved companies themselves produced their own brand products with60%for export, but in order to gain more profits, they counterfeited others' registered trademarks, accepted downstream orders, organized employees for large-scale production, and then distributed them to wholesalers through logistics for resale to retailers.

As of the incident, more than ten thousand boxes of counterfeit products had been sold, causing significant impact on South Asia Plastic Industry Nantong Co., Ltd.'s production and operation.6000According to investigations, the amount involved in this case reached up to60. Currently, all suspects have been subjected to compulsory measures by the police, and the case is still under further processing.
